Today is the floor — not the ceiling.
MVP shipped covers the full operational workflow of a school. Phase 2, Phase 3, and Phase 4 are all actively in build right now, each landing in roughly a month.
A module you need that isn't on the roadmap? We quote it as a custom build inside your tenant, audit-trailed like everything else — and you decide if it later gets rolled into core.

Phase 2 — Finance & HR¶
- Fees — Invoice generation, collections, dues tracking, online payment via Razorpay.
- Payroll — Staff salary structures, payslips, statutory deductions (PF / ESI), bank-transfer batches.
- Timetable — Period planner with conflict detection, substitution workflow, teacher load balancing.
- Leave management — Staff leave types, balances, approvals, integration with payroll.
- SMS gateway — Bulk parent notifications via MSG91 / Gupshup.
- Email gateway — Transactional + announcement emails via Amazon SES.
Phase 3 — Mobile, integrations & WhatsApp¶
- Parent mobile app — Native iOS + Android for daily attendance, fees, announcements, results.
- Student mobile app — Homework, results, timetable on the phone.
- WhatsApp Business API — Two-way parent comms over WhatsApp. Announcements, fee reminders, attendance alerts.
- WhatsApp chatbot — Parents ask "ka result kab aayega?" / "kal homework kya hai?" — bot answers from your data. Falls back to a real human.
- Biometric integration — RFID / fingerprint attendance hardware → automatic register.
- Transport tracking — Live bus GPS for parents.
- Performance management — Teacher KPIs, appraisal cycles.
Phase 4 — Edu Flick AI ✨¶
Quiet, useful AI — actively in build right now.

Operating principles¶
Tenant-isolated by default
Your data trains nothing outside your school unless you opt in, in writing.
Always reviewable
Every AI output is editable, has a "regenerate", and is logged against the user who accepted it.
Optional, never mandatory
You can run Edu Flick AI on, off, or per-module. Each capability has its own switch.
Compliance-first
Aligns with DPDP Act and the same 7-year audit retention as the rest of the platform.
What's beyond Phase 4¶
We're not done after AI. Expectations exceeded is the point.
Custom builds
Whatever you ask for next — a custom module, a specific integration, your accreditation body's exact report format — we quote it as a build in your tenant.
Multi-branch console
Run a chain of schools? Single console that lets the head office see consolidated metrics while each branch keeps single-tenant isolation.

What's never on the roadmap¶
We don't build:
- Analytics that pool data across schools.
- Ad-supported features.
- Third-party data resale of any kind.
- AI training on your students' data for someone else's model.
Your school's data is your school's data.
