Deployment model¶
One school. One server. One database.
Edu Flick is delivered as single-tenant hosted SaaS. Each school gets its own dedicated server, its own database, its own backups. You are never sharing infrastructure with another school.
Want a different region, your own cloud account, a fixed IP for your firewall, custom integrations with your finance system? Send the requirement — we adjust the deployment as per your request.

What we provide¶
Dedicated cloud server
DigitalOcean · AWS · Azure — you pick the region. We provision, harden, and operate the host. You get root-equivalent visibility, not access.
Edu Flick configured for you
Your domain, your branding, your custom fields, your codes, your role names. Pre-loaded with your students/staff before go-live.
Daily backups + rollback
Encrypted daily backups to S3-compatible cold storage. One-click rollback from the deployment dashboard if anything misbehaves.
Opt-in monthly updates
Security patches + new features land on staging, then canary, then your school — but only after you click "Deploy". No surprise updates.
TLS certificate
Auto-renewed by Let's Encrypt. HSTS preloaded. TLS 1.2+ enforced. Custom certs accepted if your school requires.
Direct line to our team
Email, phone (Growth plan and up), and a dedicated WhatsApp group with your account engineer.
What you provide¶
- A domain or subdomain to point at the server (e.g.
eduflick.yourschool.in) — we'll guide your IT on the DNS records. - A primary Super Admin email (your school owner / principal / IT lead).
- Your school logo (SVG or high-res PNG) and brand colours, if you want them applied.
- Your data — student list, staff list, classes, sections, last year's exam structure. Any reasonable format works: CSV, Excel, Google Sheet. We map it.
- A short list of your existing reports / certificates you'd like Edu Flick to generate.
How releases work¶
Staging
Every change is tested on our staging environment with synthetic data. Unit + integration + smoke tests, all green.
Canary
The release lands on our canary tenant — a real-data Edu Flick we run ourselves. We watch for regressions for 48 hours.
Your school
You see the release notes, you click "Deploy". Rollback is one click. We do not push updates without your sign-off.
Data residency & ownership¶
Region of your choice
Deploy to a region near your school: ap-south-1 for India, ap-southeast-1 for SEA, eu-west-1 for UAE/Europe.
Your data is yours
On termination, we hand you a full Postgres dump + object-storage archive within 14 days. No per-record export fees. No lock-in.
No cross-school pooling
We do not pool data across schools for analytics, benchmarks, model training, or any other purpose. Ever.
